Jennifer Savage B Soc Sc; M App Sc (Psychology of Coaching)

Jennifer is the founder of Burgeon – Applied Positive Psychology (A.P.P.). She has a strong interest in developing empowering environments where people have the opportunity to achieve their personal best. Such environments provide the recipe for community health and wellness; where individuals, organisations and the broader community flourish.

Strongly committed to social justice and empowering people, Jennifer can assist her clients find motivation and achieve lasting behavioural changes in their life. Drawing on her background in social science and psychology, she focuses on people′s strengths, rather than providing a crutch to support their weaknesses. This is an empowering approach to achieving emotional well being.

Jennifer has held senior roles in the commercial and not for profit sectors as well as operating her own successful small businesses. She holds a degree in Social Science from the University of New England and a Masters of Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) from the University of Sydney. Memberships with the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Australian Coaching Industry Research Advisory Board (ACIRAB) and the University of Sydney Coaching and Mentoring Alumni Chapter (USCMA) provide Jennifer with the latest research and professional development opportunities.

Jennifer volunteers her time and professional skills regularly, working with women′s based charities. She shares life with her husband, John and grown family in Sydney.
